About Facile

At Facile, hair is more than just a style — it's a reflection of identity, ease, and confidence. Founded in 2025, Facile was created to deliver low-maintenance, high-impact haircuts to the Albuquerque community, with a focus on texture, simplicity, and individuality.

A Stylist’s Journey: From Manhattan to the High Desert

I trained at Arrojo Cosmetology School in Manhattan, a program known for its editorial edge and mastery of razor cutting techniques. My education took me through some of New York City's most influential salons, each one shaping my perspective on precision, creativity, and personalized service.

Eventually, I landed an apprenticeship at the Ouidad Flagship Salon, where I was immersed in the world of curly hair cutting and texture education. There, I had the opportunity to assist with curly cutting classes and editorial photo shoots, further deepening my expertise.

During my time in NYC, I also collaborated with Amanda Jenkins of ECREW on multiple editorial projects. Her master class and mentorship refined my eye for shape and movement — skills that continue to influence every haircut I create today.

Dedicated to Curly Hair

After leaving New York, I returned to Albuquerque and spent seven years at Roots Salon, where I focused exclusively on curly haircuts and the needs of clients who want their hair to work with them — not against them.

In 2025, I opened Facile, with one clear mission: to deliver effortless, texture-enhancing haircuts that look just as good on day five as they do on day one.

My signature service, the Facile Haircut, is the culmination of everything I've learned: from razor technique to curl science, from editorial styling to everyday wearability.

My Philosophy: Simplicity That Lasts
